Background of Eglise Chretienne de Pentecote au Rwanda
Eglise Chretienne de Pentecote au Rwanda started on 28/08/1993. Men and women filled with the Holy Spirit of God, after observing that spiritual churches were losing their goals, and seeing that those trying to adhere to these goals focused only on one aspect of worship, sectarianism, and disagreement, contrary to the Bible (Romans 15:7), decided to unite under the leadership of the Missionary/Visionary Pastor Didace Musabyimana. Their goals were:
- To restore the full nature of the spiritual church.
- To foster fellowship among spiritual churches and promote the development of Rwandans wherever the church operates, both locally and internationally, particularly in the Great Lakes region.
- To address the aforementioned issues, ensuring that the Eglise Chretienne de Pentecote au Rwanda remains an international church due to its global vision (Mark 16:15).
We encourage anyone reading this history of the church to know that the church originally started as "Itorero Mpuzamahanga Gikirisitu ry’Abapantekoti mu Rwanda" and is now called "Eglise Chretienne de Pentecote au Rwanda" due to legal reasons, but it remains an international church because of its vision. (Mark 16:15) He said to them: Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
We desire that everyone cooperates well with the founding members of the church, realizing that establishing an international church is possible because God has called us without borders or specific races to establish international churches. God started this work and will complete it (Matthew 28:19-20), and God said that no one can fail to hear it. Amos 3:8b, and whoever hears is obliged to obey (Romans 10:14-17).
